CCA Seniors vs TFL Seven Kings Railways

Club Cricket Academy’s coaching staff and parents played against TFL’s Seven Kings Railways in a thrilling cricket match which saw the Man of the Match and CCA captain Atik Talati score a half century.  TFL Seven Kings Railways were left chasing a total of 119 runs to win.

The score seemed neck and neck at 5 overs gone with no wickets, until Bilal Raja set the scene of what was to come in the following overs with a wicket in his first over and a second wicket of the game in his second bowling over. Bilal eventually went on to take 5 wickets in the match which included a run out.

Up stepped the captain, Atik, which saw the next few wickets fall into his hands. Then a tense few overs came with TFL Seven Kings Railways hitting back bringing the game in to play with 14 runs off the last over with two wickets still available. The pressure was on for the CCA Seniors, and forward came Shabbir Athar, who put the pressure on TFL Seven Kings Railways by taking the last two wickets in the final over to seal the victory in a great game which went to the wire.
